Plazma  Burst 2 Game: Hard Yet Rewarding Gameplay
The Difficulty of Plazma Burst 2

Plazma Burst is not for the weak of heart, or those looking for a breezy two hour game. Even on normal mode on campaign, you’ll find yourself restarting whole levels because of the difficulty of the AI. On top of that, it also takes the retro style of shooter seriously, and feels a lot like the old Contra and Megaman titles. However, no matter how difficult this game may seem like, that is the part of the game’s charm. Among the hordes of enemies you might face, you will know that they won’t fall easily. On top of that, no matter how well armed your space marine might be, you’ll find yourself dying again and again over one mistake. At the same time though, taking down hard enemies is rewarding, and each take-down you rack up feels hard fought and well each victory feels meaty and full. If you’re a newbie to this kind of gameplay, it is suggested that you start the campaign on easy mode so that you get a feel of the functions of the game.

The Basics of Plazma Burst 2

As old as the game might feel, it uses fairly contemporary control systems. You move the marine with WASD and you can jump from platform to platform with the Space button. This may seem quite simple, bit in combination with high rising stages, it becomes a challenge to run and gun for your survival. The mouse controls the targeting dot, and it allows you the free movement to shoot in 360 degrees. Weapons in the game vary, from the basic machine pistol to plasma rifles, each of which has varying damage effects. Besides that, the game feels a bit dated, being that it is quite block-y, and the environments usually being colored in dark shades of brown and gray. The physics and ragdoll mechanic of the game is a nice touch, and really give a visceral feel to it. However, this does not stop the fast and strategic gameplay that Plazma Burst offers from being fun.

As well as that, there is also a level of RPG elements in the game. During your adventures through the many levels, you’ll be able to access an equipment store where you can gear up for the fight ahead.

Multiplayer

Another fun part of this game is the fact that it supports full on multiplayer. Boasting up to 8 players on each match an array of maps to play on, and over 200 games at peak times, Plazma Burst 2 works in another fun parcel of gameplay into an already great package. Take heart though, the multiplayer is filled with many experienced gamers, so starting at the beginner tiers will really help you get a grasp of game.

Overall, the Plazma Burst 2 game is surely not for everyone, especially those just looking to blow off steam with a simple game. Instead, this game is recommended to those with a lot more experience in hard core side scroll shooters, as well as those looking to test their skills in a challenging game. Between the fairly meaty campaign and the multiplayer, there is a lot to be had in this game and you can even keep saving your progress.
